Health benefits of Mycoprotein:
A mycoprotein is made from fermenting a microscopic fungus, originally developed as a solution to future world food supply shortages. Now used as a meat substitute as Quorn and has a pretty good nutrient profile
The UK and US governments have both declared mycoprotein as 'Generally Recognised as Safe' (GRAS) - see FDA report below.
