Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Heat the butter in a small pan and fry the onion, garlic and bacon for 4-5 minutes.
2) Add the tomato purée, sugar, Tabasco sauce, red wine and tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste.
3) Add the butter beans and sliced sausage and cook for a further 5 minutes.
4) To serve, top the toast with the beans and sausages.
