Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Heat oil in a saucepan, add the rice and stir over a low heat for 2-3 minutes until the grains are coated with oil.
2) Add saffron to the pan with the water and salt.
3) Bring to the boil, stirring. Cover and simmer over a very low heat, for 12 – 15 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally to prevent sticking, until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
