8g/1½ tsp baking powder
200g caster sugar
100g walnuts, chopped
200g plain flour
100g dark chocolate
1) Preheat oven to 180°C, Gas 4. 2) Whisk eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. 3) Put chocolate and butter into a bowl and put over a simmering pan of hot water. Heat until melted. 4) Stir into the egg mixture, then add flour, baking powder and nuts. 5) Spread into a greased 18x27cm cake tin. 6) Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a crust has formed. Allow to cool slightly then remove from tin. Cut into squares.
