25g ground almonds
75g butter, cut into small pieces
50g cherries halved
50g icing sugar
45g/3 tbsp raspberry jam
275g marzipan, cut into small pieces
225g shortcrust pastry
1) Preheat the oven to 200°C, Gas 6. 2) Grease a 20cm fluted flan ring and line with pastry. Prick the base. Spread jam over pastry case. 3) Put ground almonds, marzipan, butter and eggs in a food processor and blend. 4) Add mixture to pastry case and top with cherry pieces. 5) Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm to touch. 5) Leave tart to cool before removing from flan ring and chill for 30 minutes until firm. 6) Sprinkle icing sugar over the top of the tart.
