1 tbsp rapeseed oil nutritional information

300ml single cream nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Preheat oven to 200°C, Gas 6.
2) Rub together flour and butter until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3) Add cold water to form a dough. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
4) Roll out pastry and line to a greased 25cm flan tin. Prick base, line with greaseproof paper and baking beans and bake blind for 15 minutes.
5) Reduce oven temperature to 180°C, Gas 4.
6) Mix eggs, cream, herbs, paprika and seasoning.
7) Heat oil and fry bacon.
8) Remove baking beans from the pastry case.
9) Arrange bacon and cheese in pastry case and pour over egg mixture.
10) Bake for 35-40 minutes.
