An excellent source of Thiamin for your heart, energy and mental and emotional state. Plus, it’s a good source of iron, manganese, selenium, copper and phosphorus! You can make this with anything in your fridge, it’s a great lunch to throw together from leftovers. Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Sauté the onions, garlic and salami in a saucepan over a medium heat for a few minutes.
2) Add the yeast flakes, lentils, rice and stock cube to the pan and cover with water that comes approx. 2cm over the top of the rice.
3) Bring to a simmer, give it a good stir to break up the stock cube, put a lid on and cook for 10 minutes. Season to taste.
4) Add the prawns and peas and cook until the rice is cooked to your liking and the frozen foods are hot through, add more water if necessary.
