Adzuki - aduki beans
Health benefits of Adzuki - aduki beans:
Adzuki beans have been cultivated in Japan since 4000 BC and will provide protection for your cells, heart, brain and bowels.
They have a nutty-sweet flavour and can be stirred though rice or more commonly are used in desserts.
Make a sweet and creamy paste called anko as the Japanese do, by boiling them with sugar.
It is best to pre-soak them overnight, covered by 2 inches of water.
